Take your pick from these express length Cardio, Step, Pilates, or Spinning classes. They are taught at a more moderate pace, allowing you to master the basics and learn modifications so if/when you choose, you can exercise more comfortably and safely in other classes.

Utilizing the step in many positions and heights, this compelling cardio program strengthens and shapes the lower body one step at a time. Energetic music and motivating instructors create this spunky group experience.  New classes are developed every 3 months to create variety for participants.

BOOT CAMP ***This class is held on the basketball court.
This strength and conditioning program taught on the basketball court, uses functional and athletic movements.   BOOT CAMP is a demanding workout designed to tax your individual capacities instructed with a no nonsense style.

CARDIO STEP
This invigorating workout using adjustable step platforms, improves cardiovascular endurance and burns fat with fun free-style choreography.  Come burn it up!  Please note:  Step Basics is a suggested prerequisite if you have never done step before.

Get your core workout done quickly and effectively.  Take an EXPRESS class to supplement the other activities you do here at Saco Sport & Fitness.  Choose from Pilates, Yoga, or Abs EXPRESS.

Kid’s FIT QUEST
Fun, age appropriate fitness training including muscular strength, cardiovascular endurance, agility and balance exercises and a weekly health education lesson with a certified personal trainer, for ages 6-9 & 10-13 years of age.

GYM KADOODLE
Fun and fitness in 30 minutes for children ages 2 ˝ through 5 years of age.  Class themes are bi-weekly and include themes such as up/down, in/out, on/off.  Classes include musical exploration, movement, parachute and bubble time and tactile, visual and auditory stimulation.  Six week sessions- $38 for members/$48 for non-members.

HOT YOGA
Invigorating poses are done in a heated room to warm your muscles, enhance circulation, improve flexibility, prevent injuring, and increase the benefits of your workout. Each pose stimulates the mind while strengthening, reshaping, and healing the body.

If you like yoga, you'll love this...balance strength with flexibility while reducing stress with yoga poses incorporating light handheld weights (they are optional).

LIVING FITfor active older adults and beginners
Living Fit is an exercise program designed for mature adults and younger people just starting to exercise. This class includes low impact cardio routines, weight bearing, flexibility and balance exercises that will improve coordination and help with every day activities.

PILATES
This is a full body workout emphasizing body alignment, core strength, posture, and flexibility on the mat and/or ball. The focus of this discipline is to develop strong, flexible muscles that are long and lean. You will leave this class feeling refreshed!

SPIN BASICS    Learn the basics at a moderate pace in this 25 minute class, allowing you to increase your endurance and prepare your body for a full length Spinning class.  Come a few minutes before class begins if you need assistance setting up you bike.  Please note:  Spinning bikes may be reserved up to 6 days in advance of classes at the service desk.

SPINNING®
The music will beg your legs to pedal through this exhilarating indoor cycling experience.There are no complicated moves to learn, so coordination is no issue.  All levels are welcome!  First timers, please arrive early before first class for bike set-up instructions.  Bring a water bottle and towel and enjoy the ride! Please note:  Spinning bikes may be reserved up to 6 days in advance of classes, at the service desk.

SilverSneakers® 1 - MUSCULAR STRENGTH & RANGE OF MOVEMENT -for active older adults, as well as those who are sedentary and unfamiliar with exercise.Have fun and move to the music with exercises designed to increase strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
